In the heart, dwells Tom Ford’s black orchid, spices, fruity notes, lotus, gardenia, jasmine, and ylang-ylang. The base notes are vetiver, vanille, incense, white musk, amber, patchouli, sandalwood, dark chocolate, and balsam. Tom Ford Black Orchid is a luxurious and sensual fragrance with a rich, dark trace of black orchid and spices, it is modern and timeless. It is a very long-lasting perfume for women.

Imagine you’re on discovering travels across worlds. Today you embark a new unknown landscape on your quest. The air is humid, your feet stubbornly get stuck in the mud while you’re making your way through wetland woods, with some familiarity to mangrove or rain forest. The trail is a challenge, but you are prepared. The machete in your dominant hand cuts away the branches in front of you. The sound of streaming water somewhere close, a river, or a waterfall maybe, but you can’t see it yet.

Climbing over giant rocks you follow a path through the hills onwards, upwards, downwards… You hear the unique songs of tropical birds and chirping insects in the distance, sometimes the quacking of frogs. You pass caves. You’re sweating, panting, but you feel strong and you know you’re close to what you’ve been looking for. You casually wave some mosquitoes away. One look at your compass followed by a big gulp of water from your bottle, then you feel determined with certainty: you shall reach “the place” before midnight.

Hours of footsteps later. It’s almost impossible to see in the heavy darkness, and your hand-crafted torch won’t allow you to see very far ahead, but your nose can tell: you have arrived. You smell the damp soil of the earth, the wet leaves that cover roots of trees with monstrous proportions, traces of vanilla and hardened resin. The oxidation of fruits almost -but not yet- turned brown… Do you detect cocoa trees somewhere near? A warm embrace of sweet (and sticky) pollen of exotic flowers gives your tired arm muscles a well deserved relief, a sense of healing relaxation. A hint of musk: the animals around you are perfectly hidden, but your nose can’t be fooled. Fireflies gracefully circle around you, vaguely reminding you of far star constellations.
